Papertrey Ink June Blog Hop
It’s been a while since I’ve joined in on a Papertrey Ink blog hop, but I recently placed an order for some new goodies and decided to play along. It’s funny that I ended up not using any of my new stamps or dies on this card!
I was inspired by one of the sketches provided for the blog hop, along with colors and the heart motif in the inspiration photo. I made a super simple card using a trio of die cut frames that I made with some pierced square and rectangle dies. After arranging the frames on a white card base, I stamped the heart from the Bubble Talk set inside each frame, matching the color of each heart to the color of the frame around it.
The “I love you” sentiment from the Tremendous Treats: Valentine set was stamped in gray ink beneath the horizontally oriented frame. I added a bit of sparkle to the simple design with a single silver sequin placed on each of the stamped hearts.
Materials Used:
Bubble Talk and Tremendous Treats: Valentine stamp sets, Harvest Gold, Raspberry Fizz, and Tropical Teal cardstock, Harvest Gold ink (Papertrey Ink); Memento Rose Bud and Memento Luxe Gray Flannel inks (Tsukineko); Peacock Feathers distress ink (Ranger); Die-namics Pierced Square Stax and Pierced Rectangle Stax dies (My Favorite Things); square punch (EK Success); silver sequins (Michaels)
