Sending Smiles
Here’s my second take on the current sketch at Seize the Sketch. This time, I used stamps and dies from Mama Elephant for my card.
I used the bunny and balloon images from the Up and Away set along with the cloud die from the Landscape Trio die set to make a scene. The bunny and balloons were stamped on white cardstock and colored with Copic markers, then die cut with the matching dies and adhered to the blue panel using foam tape. There's a little white flock on the bunny's belly and tail to give them a fluffy texture.
I matted the panel on rose cardstock, then adhered it on an angle to a piece of floral patterned paper. The set’s “sending smiles across the miles” sentiment was stamped on the cloud portion of the panel in blue pigment ink.
Be sure to stop by the STS blog to check out all of the entries for the current challenge. And, the challenge is open until Sunday, so you have plenty of time to join in if you haven't yet played along.
Materials Used:
Up and Away stamp set, Up and Away and Landscape Trio dies (Mama Elephant); Memento Tuxedo Black ink (Tsukineko); Lake House pigment ink, Lake House cardstock (WPlus9); Regal Rose and Shimmery White cardstock (Stampin’ Up!); Fabulous 6x6 paper pad (Simple Stories); white flock (Stampendous); foam tape
