Thank You Teacher
Here's my card for this week's sketch at CAS(e) this Sketch. I used two different Papertrey Ink teacher themed stamp sets for this clean and simple card.
I stamped the pencil from the Teach and Inspire set repeatedly along the edge of a cream panel, staggering the placement of the image just a bit to add interest. The pencils were colored in using Copic markers.
The "thank you teacher" sentiment from the Back to School set was stamped in the open space between the pencils. I'd wanted to use the word "teacher" from my Teacher's Apple set, but sadly, the stamp is missing. I'm going to have to see if I can get a replacement . . . The finished panel was adhered to a kraft card base.
Materials Used:
Teach and Inspire and Back to School stamp sets (Papertrey Ink); Memento Tuxedo Black ink (Tsukineko); markers (Copic); cream cardstock (Michaels); Desert Storm cardstock (Neenah)

ReplyDeleteOh, this is fabulous, Lori! You can send a SASE to Papertrey Ink, along with a printout of the stamp set you have, with the stamp you're missing circled and they will send you out a replacement.
