You Color my World
Here’s my card for this week’s My Favorite Things Wednesday Stamp Club sketch challenge. I used one of my Pure Innocence sets for this cheery, colorful design.
I colored the girl image from the You Color My World set using Copic markers, then cut her out. I used foam tape to adhere her to a white pierced circle die cut. The die cut circle is adhered to a rainbow striped panel with a strip of yellow cardstock across it. I adhered the striped panel to a light gray card base, then topped the patterned paper panel with a "frame" cut from pink cardstock. The set’s “you color my world” sentiment was stamped directly on the striped paper in black pigment ink. Using a pigment ink really helps the words to stand out against the busy background.
Materials Used:
Pure Innocence You Color My World stamp set, Bubblegum, Lemon Drop, and Grout Gray cardstock, Die-namics Pierced Circle Stax dies (My Favorite Things); Memento Tuxedo Black ink and Memento Luxe Tuxedo Black ink (Tsukineko); markers (Copic); foam tape
