Feel Better

Here's my card for the current Lawnscaping summer color challenge.  The layout is based on the current Deconstructed Sketch, and with its fishtail strip element, it also fits this week's blogger challenge theme.

Feel Better card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from Lawn Fawn
The cheery, warm colors were perfect for a get well card.  I used Lawn Fawn's Spring Showers dies to cut an orange sun and a pair of white felt clouds.  They're arranged over a piece of aqua striped patterned paper set on an aqua card base.

I tucked the golden yellow fishtail flag strip in among the sun and clouds, then stamped the "feel better" sentiment from the So Much to Say set on the fishtail flag strip in orange ink.

Don't forget that today's the last day to take advantage of the moving sale at i {heart} papers!  IHP is my favorite place to get my Lawn Fawn goodies.  Use the code moving2014 for 40% off of your order until 3PM EST today.  The coupon will expire at that time and any orders placed after 3PM will be shipped after IHP has finished moving and is settled in its new home.  Happy shopping!

Materials Used:
from i {heart} papers:  Lawn Fawn So Much to Say stamp set, Hello Sunshine and Let's Polka designer papers, Spring Showers dies; Avery Elle Fizz ink

other:  Hawaiian Shores and Harvest Gold cardstock (Papertrey Ink); Pumpkin Pie cardstock (Stampin' Up!)
