The Challenge 11-Something Wonderful

After a short summer hiatus, The Challenge is back!  The new challenge has a sketch and a color combination.  You can choose to use both together, or just the one to play along.

Something Wonderful card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps from Reverse Confetti
I combined the sketch and colors on this card using stamps from Reverse Confetti's Paper Crane stamp set.  I love the sentiments in this set!  I stamped one of them in dark, dark brown ink on a cream circle, then added a line of triangle images beneath the text in rust colored ink.  The circle was matted on a contrasting Early Espresso panel.

The circle is adhered to a rust card base that I covered with a pair of patterned paper panels.  Once it was in place, I added a pair of banner strips to the bottom.  I accented it with the set's paper crane image, stamped in brown ink on some Crisp Cantaloupe-like cardstock, and a trio of olive green enamel dots.

Don't miss what the rest of the team has created for this week's challenge.  Here's where to find them:
