Bright Birthday Shaker

Here's my card for the current Viva la Verve sketch.  It's also my entry for Verve's sequin themed August Diva Inspiration Challenge.

I used sequins to make a shaker window for the focal image panel.  The "happy birthday" sentiment from Verve's Treasured Words set was stamped in rose ink on a white panel. I tossed a mix of sequins on top of the text before adding a shaker window on top. 

I adhered the shaker piece to a piece of festive patterned paper.  A pretty blue fishtail flag strip was tucked underneath the right edge of the shaker.  The paper was matted on contrasting blue cardstock, then adhered to a peachy colored panel.  After layering the panel on coordinating cardstock mats, I adhered it to an easy to write on white card base.
