Burlap and Bouquets Birthday

Here's a fun birthday card for this week's Viva la Verve sketch.  I was inspired by the confetti-like patterned paper in the Fancy Pants Burlap and Bouquet paper pad.

Happy Birthday to You card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps from Verve Stamps
I paired the patterned paper with a piece of mint green cardstock and adhered the papers to a kraft card base.  The birthday sentiment is from Verve's Birthday Bash stamp set.  It's stamped in mint green ink on a cream panel that I framed with a kraft Round Scallop Frame die cut.  I adhered the sentiment panel to the cardfront over a gold die cut pennant trim strip.  After adding another pennant trim strip over the top of the sentiment panel, I topped it with a star cut from berry cardstock.

Materials Used:
Birthday Bash stamp set, Rounded Scallop Frame and Pennant Trim dies (Verve Stamps); Mint to Be ink (Avery Elle); Spearmint cardstock (My Favorite Things); Berry Sorbet cardstock (Papertrey Ink); Desert Storm cardstock (Neenah); cream cardstock (Michaels); gold paper (Target); Burlap and Bouquets 6x6 paper pad (Fancy Pants); stitched star die (Lil' Inker Designs); foam tape
