TCP Tuesday 272-You Make Me Happy

It's time for a new TCP Tuesday challenge!  Our new challenge is a color challenge, hosted by Noelle.  She's chosen Mint Green, Navy Blue, and Lemon as our color palette.  Pretty!

You Make Me Happy card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from The Cat's PajamasI used the colors along with TCP's CutUps Flower Buttons dies for a clean and layered design.  The card also serves as my entry for another Dare to Get Dirty Challenge at Splitcoaststampers (check out the details here).  I die cut the large flower from lemon cardstock, then topped it with a smaller navy die cut.  The flowers are held together with a piece of yellow baker's twine tied in a bow.

I adhered the flower to a navy cardstock strip that I layered over some pretty mint patterned paper on the lemon card base.  Once the flower was in place, I tucked a pair of leaves die cut from mint cardstock underneath it.  The "you make me happy" sentiment from the Bearing Flowers set was stamped beneath the navy strip.  I added a trio of yellow enamel dots to finish the card.

I hope you'll join us for this week's challenge. Link up your finished project on the TCP blog for a chance to win this week's Cat Cash prize--and to be in the running to be our next Swanky Stamper. The Swanky Stamper is selected from among all of the month's challenge entries and gets a selection of stamps from an upcoming release and joins the Cat Pack for our Pajama Party and Blog Hop. You can find all the details on the TCP blog.
