You're a Class Act

Here's my card for this month's Sketch for You to Try.  I put together this school themed design based on the sketch.  Since I'm heading back to the classroom, I definitely have school on my mind and it's showing in my crafting!

You're a Class Act card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from Reverse Confetti
I used the apple from the Reverse Confetti Class Act set as my focal image.  I used foam tape to adhere the apple to a rounded rectangle panel stamped with the set's notebook paper image.  The "you're a class act" sentiment was stamped on top in very dark brown ink.

I ran a strip of dark brown twill across the bottom of a kraft panel, then added a piece of eyeglass patterned paper and a red cardstock panel on top.  The stamped panel was layered over the red panel, tilted on an angle to add interest.  A few brown enamel dots finished off the design.

Materials Used:
Class Act stamp set, Confetti Cuts Class Act dies (Reverse Confetti); Espresso Truffle ink (Tsukineko); Early Espresso and Real Red cardstock (Stampin' Up!); Desert Storm cardstock (Neenah); Aquamarine, Celery and Cherry inks (Avery Elle); Off to School 6x6 paper pad (Fancy Pants); brown twill (Martha Stewart); enamel dots (Prima); foam tape
