I Think You're Spectacular

Here's my card for this week's My Favorite Things Wednesday Stamp Club sketch challenge. I combined the sketch with this week's blogger challenge--black, white, and a pop of color--for this adorable card.

I was able to put the card together in just a few minutes by using the Die-namics 18 set to cut all of the panels.  The fun eyeglasses patterned paper was a perfect match for the "I think you're spectacular" sentiment from the Geek Is Chic set.  The stitched detailing on the circle panel helps to set it off from the background.  Before I added the sentiment on top, I wrapped the angled panels with two strips of red twill.  Once the sentiment was in place, I used foam tape to attach a pair of eyeglasses, die cut with one of the dies from the Geek Is Chic Glasses set, at the top of the panel.
