TCP Tuesday 274-Hang in There Baby

This week's TCP Tuesday challenge is a sketch designed by Lisa.  I paired the sketch with the sweet Hang in There Baby set for my card.

Hang in There card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from The Cat's Pajamas
I used my Silhouette and the Hang in There Baby Cutables cut file to cut out the sock monkey shape, then stamped the matching image on the cut out piece.  The stamped sock monkey image was colored with Copic markers and adhered to the blue background panel using foam tape. Once the image was in place, I stamped the set's "hang in there baby" sentiment next to it in black ink.

I adhered the image panel to a kraft card base on an angle, then added a red chevron patterned paper strip along the right edge of the cardfront.  For my version, I substituted a pair of fluffy white felt clouds, cut with the CutUps Cloud Border die, for the heart shaped element.

I hope you'll join us for this week's challenge. Link up your finished project on the TCP blog for a chance to win this week's Cat Cash prize--and to be in the running to be our next Swanky Stamper. The Swanky Stamper is selected from among all of the month's challenge entries and gets a selection of stamps from an upcoming release and joins the Cat Pack for our Pajama Party and Blog Hop. You can find all the details and lots of inspiration from the Cat Pack on the TCP blog.
