It's time for another Color Throwdown! Tammy is our hostess this week and she's found this pretty fall inspired color palette for us to work with.
I made a sweet fall card using stamps from Reverse Confetti. I stamped a pair of pumpkins from the Forever Fall set. They're adhered to a kraft panel over a piece of chevron patterned washi tape. I used foam tape om the top pumpkin for dimension. To bring in some of the deep purple color, I stamped the set's "hello pumpkin" sentiment beneath the tape strip in purple ink and added a big purple enamel dot next to the pumpkins--it doesn't look purple in the photo, but I promise it is! I matted the panel on golden yellow cardstock, then adhered it to a green card base.
To play along, just create a paper crafted project using these colors as a starting point and add a direct link to your finished project using the linky tool found at the end of this week's CTD post. As always, if you don’t have exact color matches, something close works just fine. Just be sure that the challenge colors are the dominant ones in your project. And, if you upload your project to an online gallery, use the keyword CTD313. Before you get started, here’s some inspiration from the talented Color Throwdown team, our October guestie, Tara Godfrey, and this week’s guest star stamper, Angie.
Materials Used:
Forever Fall stamp set (Reverse Confetti); Fizz and Celery inks (Avery Elle); Memento Grape Jelly ink (Tsukineko); Harvest Gold and New Leaf cardstock (Papertrey Ink); Desert Storm cardstock (Neenah); yellow chevron washi tape, purple enamel dots (Michaels); foam tape
