Have a Fangtastic Halloween
I wanted to squeeze in another card or two using my Waltzingmouse Stamps Boo and Friends set before Halloween has come and gone, so I put together this design for the current Waltzingmouse Fanatics Halloween themed challenge. The layout is based on the current Deconstructed Sketch.
I used the vampire ghost as my focal image. It was stamped on shimmery white cardstock and colored with Copic markers, then cut out. It's adhered to a black and gray houndstooth panel using foam tape. I heat embossed the "have a fangtastic Halloween" sentiment from the Peek a Boo Sentiments set next to the image in white, then accented it with a trio of purple enamel dots. The panel was edged with black cardstock, then adhered to a purple panel. I tucked a pale gray strip underneath the top of the patterned paper panel and another pale gray strip that I punched with a drippy goo border punch underneath the bottom. The panel was matted on black, then gray cardstock, then adhered to a purple card base.
Materials Used:
Boo and Friends and Peek A Boo Sentiments stamp sets (Waltzingmouse Stamps); Memento Tuxedo Black ink and Memento Luxe Wedding Dress ink (Tsukineko); markers (Copic); Lovely Lilac, Basic Black, and Shimmery White cardstock (Stampin' Up!); Halloween Parade designer paper (Doodlebug Design); Drippy Goo border punch (Martha Stewart); white embossing powder, purple enamel dots (Michaels); foam tape
