TCP Tuesday 278-Don't Let Anything Dull Your Sparkle
This week's TCP Tuesday challenge is a sketch challenge, hosted by the talented Wendy. I took a break from creating with seasonal fall colors and went with a spring-like design for the sketch.
I cut the tag panel from aqua cardstock with my Silhouette, using the cut files for the sketch that were generously provided by Alma (look for them on the TCP blog). I added a strip of grass along the bottom, cut with TCP's CutUps Grass die. The umbrella-toting big eared bunny from the Rise and Shine set was colored with Copic markers and set on top of the tag with foam tape. I had just enough room at the top of the tag to stamp a sentiment at the top.
I layered the tag over a pair of patterned papers set on a pink card base. Isn't the raindrop patterned paper perfect with this image? I added a few pink sequins to go with the sentiment.
I hope you'll join us for the challenge. Link up your finished project on the TCP blog for a chance to win some Cat Cash to spend at TCP--and to be in the running to be our next Swanky Stamper. The Swanky Stamper is selected from among all of the month's challenge entries and gets a selection of stamps from an upcoming release and joins the Cat Pack for our Pajama Party and Blog Hop. You can find all the details--and more inspiration from the Cat Pack--on the TCP blog.
Materials Used:
Rise and Shine stamp set, CutUps Grass die (The Cat's Pajamas); Memento Tuxedo Black ink (Tsukineko); Bubblegum cardstock (My Favorite Things); Aqua Mist cardstock (Papertrey Ink); Kiwi Kiss cardstock (Stampin' Up!); Hello Sunshine 6x6 paper pad (Pink Paislee); pink satin ribbon (Michaels); bubblegum sequins (Treehouse Studio)
