Thanks a Latte
Here's my card for the current Viva la Verve sketch challenge. I made a coffee themed thank you card using Verve's Holiday Treats stamp set.
After running a strip of dotted patterned paper down the center of a pink cardstock panel, I added a kraft circle on top. The kraft circle was topped with a pink heart, die cut with the Heart Quartet die, and a to go cut, cut with the Cup of Cheer die and stamped with the matching image from the Holiday Treats set. I used foam tape to adhere the to go cup to add some dimension to the design.
The "thanks a latte" sentiment was stamped in kraft ink on an aqua strip. I adhered the strip over the patterned paper panel, tucking one end underneath the to go cup and kraft circle. The finished panel was layered on to a white card base.
Materials Used:
Holiday Treats stamp set, Heart Quartet and Cup of Cheer dies (Verve Stamps); Memento Luxe Toffee Crunch ink (Tsukineko); Sweet Blush and Aqua Mist cardstock (Papertrey Ink); Desert Storm cardstock (Neenah); Cut and Paste-Flair 6x6 paper pad (My Mind's Eye); circle die (Lil' Inker Designs); foam tape
