The Challenge 16-Love You

The Challenge is back with a new sketch and color combination!  You can choose to use just the sketch, just the color palette, or combine them both.  I chose to combine the two for my card.

Love You card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps from Winnie & WalterI made my sentiment the focus here, using Winnie and Walter's The Big, the Bold, and the Happy set to stamp on a piece of patterned paper.  While the pattern is kind of busy, the colors are soft enough that the bold, black "love you" stands out nicely against it.  I did use pigment ink for the sentiment to help with that.

The sentiment panel was matted on a black circle, then adhered to a gray panel.  I added a burgundy fishtail flag strip at the bottom of the circle, just beneath the text, then accented it with a silver die cut heart.  A few white sequins scattered around the panel completed the design.

Don't miss what the rest of the amazing challenge team has created to inspire you!  We're thrilled to be welcoming some new team members on board today Here's where to find them:
