This Way to Birthday Fun

I put together this fun masculine birthday card using this week's sketch from Retro Sketches and a Halloween--yes, Halloween--paper pad from Jillibean Soup.   I've found so many non-Halloween uses for this paper!

This Way to Birthday Fun card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from Avery Elle
I picked three different patterns with coordinating colors for the panels on the cardfront.  Each panel was matted on orange cardstock, then adhered to the kraft card base.  I stamped the "this way to birthday fun" sentiment from the Avery Elle Aim High set in green ink on a cream panel, then matted it on orange cardstock and set it on the card using dimensional dots.  A green curved arrow, die cut with the coordinating Aim High dies, was adhered over the panels.  The end was tucked underneath the sentiment panel.  A few orange enamel dots clustered at two of the card's corners completed the design.

Before I wrap up this post, I want to give you one last reminder that tomorrow is the last day to take advantage of the big birthday sale at i {heart} papers.  Don't miss out on your chance to take 25%  off of your order of $25 or more.  Use the code IHP6BD to save.  Happy shopping!
