Bringing You Christmas Cheer

Here's my card for this week's sketch at Retro Sketches.  The sketch's large panel was perfect for a large image like the festive singing penguin trio from the Joy to the World set from The Cat's Pajamas. 

I stamped the penguins in my favorite penguin black ink, Versafine Onyx Black, then colored them with Copic markers.  I adhered them to the white panel using foam tape. The "bringing you Christmas cheer" sentiment from the Believe set was stamped just above the caroling trio in the same bold, black ink.

I adhered the image panel to a green card base with a strip of multicolored striped patterned paper at the top.  I ran a red cardstock strip along the bottom of the image panel and wrapped it with a narrow strip of red grosgrain ribbon to add some texture.  A silver Big Scallop die cut tucked underneath the red strip adds a bit of sparkle to the seasonal design.
