Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge 243-Let's Be Jolly

It's time for another Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge.  I used this week's sketch for a whimsical holiday card featuring a pair of penguins from the Mama Elephant Arctic Penguins set.

Let's Be Jolly card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps from Mama Elephant
The penguins were stamped on shimmery white cardstock and cut with the matching dies.  I colored them just a tiny bit with Copic markers, then used foam tape to adhere them to the wintery background.  The "let's be jolly" sentiment from the Jolly and Merry set was stamped above the penguins in red pigment ink.

I paired the penguins with cardstock and patterned paper panels in a traditional holiday color scheme. The finished panel was adhered to a coordinating green card base.

To play along, just create a card based on the sketch and link it up on Karen’s blog. For lots of inspiration be sure to check out what the other Sweet Sunday Sketch stampers have created for you this week. Here’s where to find them:
