Big Congrats

Here's my card for the current challenge at Freshly Made Sketches.  It's similar to this one I did last week, but instead of using the star-shaped opening to make a shaker, I did a little inlaid die cutting to switch things up.

Big Congrats card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from Lil' Inker Designs
After cutting the star shape from the white panel, I cut another star from shimmery gold paper.  The gold die cut was inlaid after I splattered the panel with some droplets from a bottle of copper irRESISTible texture spray.  The "big congrats"sentiment from the Lil' Inker Designs Sending You set was stamped in gold ink on a narrow black double ended banner strip, then heat embossed in gold for even more pop.  After matting the panel on a layer of gold cardstock, I adhered it to a bold black card base.

Materials Used:
Sending You stamp set, stitched star die (Lil' Inker Designs); Delicata Golden Glitz ink, Copper irRESISTible texture spray (IMAGINE Crafts/Tsukineko); Basic Black cardstock (Stampin' Up!); gold paper (Target); double ended banner die (Papertrey Ink); foam tape
