Just What I Always Wanted

Now that the holidays are over, the thank you note writing has begun!  Here's a fun thank you using the new Official Grinch set from The Cat's Pajamas and this week's Mojo Monday sketch.

Just What I Always Wanted card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps from The Cat's Pajamas

Poochie is the star on this one.  He was stamped in Versafine Onyx Black ink (again, my fave for images I want to have a nice, solid dark black, like TCP's Poochie, Sprinke, and penguin trio) and his sweater was paper pieced with a scrap of festive snowflake patterned paper.  I used foam tape to adhere Poochie to a round white panel.

The white panel was adhered to a green panel on top of a piece of green dotted paper with a strip of red on red dotted paper on top.  Once the image was in place, I added the "just what I always wanted" sentiment beneath it, matted on red cardstock to set it off from the background a bit.  The finished panel was adhered to an easy to write on card base.

Be sure to stop by The Cat's Pajamas to check out the big year end sale.  Everything is 30% off--but, if you use the code mews14, your savings jumps to 40%.  Happy shopping!
