The Challenge 21-Happy Holidays

The Challenge is back with a new sketch and color combination! You can choose to use only the sketch, only the colors, or to combine both on your card.  I used both the sketch and the colors (all 5 of them!) for my seasonal design.

Happy Holidays card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps from Clear and Simple Stamps
I started off with a kraft card base.  I adhered strips of red cardstock, edged with shiny gold paper, to the top and bottom of the cardfront, then tucked a dark green fishtail flag strip underneath the top red strip.  The "happy holidays" sentiment from the Clear and Simple Stamps Sweet Sentiments:  Holidays was stamped in red ink on an oval die cut.  After matting the oval on a slightly larger brown oval, I added it to the cardfront.  It's accented with a shimmery white snowflake die cut with a sparkly clear crystal at the center.
