Tidings of Comfort and Joy
Here's my card for the current Fusion challenge. I used the sketch and the colors (red and sparkly silver) from the inspiration photo for my design.
I started off with a red card base covered with a piece of red dotted patterned paper. A shimmery silver pierced circle die cut was layered over the dotted paper. After stamping the "tidings of comfort and joy" sentiment from Reverse Confetti's Seasonal Sentiments stamp set on the circle in black ink, I adhered a narrow red fishtail flag strip across the cardfront. The strip was topped with a super sparkly snowflake die cut. Since you can't ever have too much sparkle, especially on a holiday card, for one final, extra sparkly touch, I adhered a big clear crystal to the flake's center.
Materials Used:
Seasonal Sentiments stamp set, Confetti Cuts Let it Snow die (Reverse Confetti); Versafine Onyx Black ink (Tsukineko); Riding Hood Red cardstock (Stampin' Up!); silver paper (Target); Recollections With Love 6x6 paper pad, silver glitter cardstock, clear crystal (Michaels); Die-namics Fishtail Flag Stax and Pierced Circle Stax dies (My Favorite Things); foam tape
