Color Throwdown 330-Somebunny Sends Smiles

It's time for another Color Throwdown!  Joan is our hostess this week and she's found this soothing color palette for us to try--light green, green, orange, and white.

Somebunny Sends Smiles card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps from My Favorite ThingsI inked up my new Somebunny set from My Favorite Things for the first time for my card for the challenge. I die cut the bunny from white cardstock, then stamped the matching image on the die cut.  Instead of coloring the image, I paper pieced her dress from a scrap of green dotted cardstock.  She's set on a lighter green card base over a piece of green die cut grass.  I added a pair of balloons to her hand, using foam tape to adhere one balloon for dimension.  The sun was fashioned from a pinking circle die cut topped with a debossed circle die cut.  I put a pair of white clouds on top of the sun to add a whimsical touch.  The "somebunny sends smiles" sentiment was stamped next to the bunny in green ink.

To play along, just create a paper crafted project using these colors as a starting point and add a direct link to your finished project using the linky tool found at the end of this week's CTD post. As always, if you don’t have exact color matches, something close works just fine. Just be sure that the challenge colors are the dominant ones in your project. And, if you upload your project to an online gallery, use the keyword CTD330.

Before you get started, here’s some inspiration from the talented Color Throwdown team, our February guestie, Jen Shults, and this week’s guest star stamper, Amy White.
