The Challenge 25-You Brighten My Day

The Challenge is back with a new sketch and color combination!  You can choose to use just the sketch, just the colors, or to combine them both on your card.  I used both the sketch and the colors on this sweet design made with stamps and dies from Lawn Fawn.

You Brighten My Day card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps from Lawn Fawn
I used a bunch of die cut pieces to make a sweet sunny day scene on a piece of dotted mustard colored patterned paper.  The sun was made from a rust pinking circle die cut topped with a smaller mustard circle debossed with a tiny polka dot pattern.  I hand cut a pair of fishtail flag strips--one green and one mustard--to adhere beneath the sun.  The "you brighten my day" sentiment from Lawn Fawn's Summertime Charm set was stamped on the shorter green one.  I topped the sun with a pair of clouds die cut from shimmery white cardstock.
