Color Throwdown 335-Thank You Berry Much

It's time for another Color Throwdown!  Our hostess this week is Vickie and she's chosen a fun, fresh color palette-red, light yellow, and light green.

Thank You card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps from Mama Elephant
My thank  you card's layout is based on the current sketch at the Clean and Simple Stamping blog.  I used my Copic markers to color up one of the images from the Potted Pretties set from Mama Elephant, then cut out the image with the matching die.  It was adhered to a green panel using foam tape.  I stamped the set's "thank you" sentiment next to it in black ink, then layered the panel over a strip of red dotted patterned paper on a white cardstock panel.  I cut a narrow fishtail flag strip from golden yellow cardstock and adhered it beneath the floral image.  The strip was anchored with a small red button that I threaded with a piece of twine.

To play along, just create a paper crafted project using these colors as a starting point and add a direct link to your finished project using the linky tool found at the end of this week's CTD post. As always, if you don’t have exact color matches, something close works just fine. Just be sure that the challenge colors are the dominant ones in your project. And, if you upload your project to an online gallery, use the keyword CTD335.  If you upload your projects on social media, go ahead and use the hashtag #ctd335 and #colorthrowdown.  You can find us on Instagram (and on Facebook!) with the username colorthrowdown.

Before you get started, here’s some inspiration from the talented Color Throwdown team, our March guestie, Holly Brown, and this week’s guest star stamper, Natasha.
