TCP Tuesday 287-Bloom Where You Are Planted

It's time for a new TCP Tuesday challenge at The Cat's Pajamas!  This week's challenge theme is anything goes.  I'm sharing a card I showed off at TCP's March release Pajama Party, but haven't yet shared on my blog.

Bloom Where You Are Planted card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from The Cat's Pajamas
I used the new Patterned Petals set and coordinating CutUps 5 Petal Posies dies to make a pretty pink flower for my focal image.  The set's houndstooth image was stamped in rose ink on the pale pink die cut flower.  I added a twine tied button at the flower's center.

I covered a green card base with a piece of green on green striped patterned paper, then added a green Leaf Scroll die cut to the panel.  I topped the die cut with my finished flower, using foam tape for dimension.  The set's "bloom where you are planted" sentiment was stamped at the bottom of the panel in gray pigment ink.  I added a trio of pink enamel dots around the sentiment to finish the card.

Be sure to stop by the TCP blog for more inspiration and for all the details on how you can play along with the challenge.  Challenge participants have a chance to win a generous Cat Cash prize and to be named the Swanky Stamper of the month, which earns you a slot in an upcoming TCP release blog hop along with a selection of stamps from the release!  Be sure to link up your card on the TCP blog for a chance to win.  And, our Spring Blog Hop is still going on, so you can link your project (made with TCP stamps/dies, please!) up there for a chance to win a $50 gift voucher!  You'll find the Spring Blog Hop linky on blog's right side bar.  Happy stamping!
