Hay There

Here's my card for this week's My Favorite Things Wednesday Sketch Challenge.  I went with a country theme, complete with cheery yellow gingham and a farm themed image.

Hay There card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from My Favorite Things
The sweet little girl from the Pure Innocence Farmer Girl set is the focal image on my card.  She was colored with Copic markers and cut out, then adhered to a blue pierced circle die cut using foam tape.  I adhered the circle to a yellow gingham panel, then tucked a red fishtail flag strip underneath each side of the image.  To accent the image, I arranged a trio of red enamel dots just outside the edge of the round panel.  The set's "hay there" sentiment was stamped beneath the image panel.  I adhered the finished panel to a coordinating Lemon Drop card base.

Materials Used:
Pure Innocence Farmer Girl stamp set, Lemon Drop cardstock, Die-namics Pierced Circle and Fishtail Flag Stax dies (My Favorite Things); Memento Tuxedo Black ink (IMAGINE Crafts/Tsukineko); markers (Copic); Ocean Tides cardstock, Lemon Tart patterned paper (Papertrey Ink); Real Red cardstock (Stampin' Up!); red enamel dots (Michaels); foam tape
