HB2U
Here's my card for this week's sketch at Freshly Made Sketches. I went stamp-less on this one, using patterned paper and die cuts to get my message across.
I covered most of the green card base with a piece of birthday patterned paper from a 6x6 paper pad. The left edge of the patterned paper panel was covered with a contrasting strip of navy cardstock. I die cut the HB2U tag from the My Favorite Things Tag Talk die set from golden yellow cardstock, then again from navy cardstock. I used the letters from the navy die cut to fill in the negative space in the navy tag and added a simple twine bow, then adhered the tag to the upper left side of the cardfront.
Materials Used:
Tag Talk Die-namics dies (My Favorite Things); Green Acres cardstock (WPlus9); Night of Navy cardstock (Stampin' Up!); Harvest Gold cardstock (Papertrey Ink); It's a Celebration 6x6 paper pad (Carta Bella); twine

What a fun card! Love the little tag mounted sideways on the top!
ReplyDeleteI really like the way you interpreted the sketch, Lori! Great colors and papers, too. Thanks for sharing with us at Freshly Made Sketches!
