Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge 268-Yay!

It's time for another Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge.  I used the sketch to make a graduation themed card using the Jump for Joy set from The Cat's Pajamas.

Yay card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps from The Cat's Pajamas
I stamped the mortarboard clad penguin in black ink, then added a bit of color to the image with my Copic markers.   The image was adhered to a white panel using foam tape.  I stamped the "yay!" sentiment beneath the image in the same dark black ink--Versafine Onyx Black, my favorite for the TCP penguins.

I paired the image with a piece of festive star patterned paper.  The patterned paper was set on an angle over a blue cardstock panel on an aqua card base, then topped with a contrasting strip of red cardstock.  After setting the image on top, I added a trio of red enamel dots around it as an accent.

To play along, just create a card based on the sketch and link it up on the SSSC blog.  Be sure to stop by the blog to check out what the SSSC team has created using the sketch.  And, don't forget to check in on Wednesday to see one of our favorite cards made with the sketch.

Materials Used:
Jump for Joy stamp set (The Cat's Pajamas); Versafine Onyx Black ink (IMAGINE Crafts/Tsukineko); markers (Copic); Aqua Mist cardstock (Papertrey Ink); Poppy Parade and Blue Bayou cardstock (Stampin' Up!); Alphabet Soup Boy "Star Bright" designer paper (My Mind's Eye); red enamel dots (Michaels); foam tape
