The Sky Is Not Your Limit
Sneaky Peek Week at The Cat's Pajamas continues today with a first look at the new I Are Fun stamp set. I combined the new set with this week's Color Throwdown challenge and the current sketch at Retro Sketches.
I used Copic markers to color set's the bear and balloon image. It was attached to an aqua panel using foam tape. I used the new CutUps Stitched Cloud dies--love these!--to die cut a pair of clouds from white cardstock, then tucked them underneath the bear image. There was just enough room underneath the bear to stamp the set's "the sky is not your limit" sentiment in aquamarine pigment ink.
I edged the left side of the image panel with a teal strip die cut with TCP's CutUps Wavy Stitched Border die, then added a narrow strip of the same teal cardstock to the right edge. The image panel was adhered to a kraft card base covered with a piece of yellow dotted patterned paper. I accented the image and sentiment with a trio of teal enamel dots.
