Forever
Here's my card for this week's My Favorite Things Wednesday Sketch Challenge. I put this anniversary card together using only dies--no stamps in sight!
I started out by cutting a pierced heart from dark gray cardstock. For a sentiment, I cut the "forever" arrow from the Straight to My Heart die set from red cardstock. It was layered over the heart using teeny, tiny pieces of foam tape.
I adhered the heart to a piece of heart patterned paper. After edging the patterned paper panel with red cardstock strips, I adhered it to a neutral card base. To add a bit of glitz and sparkle, I arranged a trio of silver sequins around the heart and arrow.
Materials Used:
Die-namics Pierced Heart Stax and Straight to My Heart dies (My Favorite Things); Smokey Slate cardstock (Papertrey Ink); Cherry Cobbler and Sahara Sand cardstock (Stampin' Up!); Love Note 6x6 paper pad (Fancy Pants Designs); silver sequins; foam tape
