SugarPea Designs July Sweet Peek-Day 4
Sweet Peek Week continues today at SugarPea Designs with the reveal of the new Unfrog-gettable stamp set. This set is designed by a new to SugarPea Designs artist, Melyssa Connolly, and we're thrilled to have her Sugar Doodle Collection here at SPD!
I used the set to make a fun birthday card. I colored the boy and frog image with Copic markers, then carefully cut out the colored image. He was adhered to a patterned paper panel using foam tape. After edging the panel with a narrow strip of kraft cardstock, I attached it to a light blue cardstock panel. An olive green Zig Zag Stitched Circle die cut was tucked underneath the left side of the patterned paper panel. The stitched pattern on these dies is fantastic--I'll be using them a lot! I accented the circle with a pair of silver brads. The set's "hoppy birthday" sentiment was stamped on a narrow olive green strip. I adhered the strip to the right side of the card, overlapping the patterned paper panel just a bit. The finished panel was adhered to a blue-green card base.
