Mojo Monday 415-L'Shana Tova

L'Shana Tova card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps from Paper Smooches

Happy Monday!  It's time for another Mojo Monday sketch to start off the week.  Since today marks the start of the Jewish New Year, I used this week's sketch along with the Kibitzing 2 stamp set and coordinating Kibitzing Icons dies from Paper Smooches to make a card to mark the event.

I colored the apple and honey image (a tradition that symbolizes hope for a sweet new year) with Copic markers, then cut out the image with the matching die.  The image was adhered to a cream panel using foam tape.  I stamped the set's "L'Shana Tova" sentiment (a traditional new year greeting) on the panel just beneath the image.  The panel was matted on red cardstock, then adhered to a golden yellow cardstock panel with a strip of coordinating yellow dotted paper along the left side.  I tucked a kraft die cut tag underneath the top of the image panel, then topped it with a piece of knotted red satin ribbon for a pop of color.  The finished panel was adhered to a cream card base.

Head on over to the Mojo Monday blog for more inspiration from the design team and to add your own take on this week's sketch!  You can also find all of the Mojo Makers at their blogs here:
