Welcome Little One
Here's my card for this week's sketch at RetroSketches. I replaced the layout's large jar shaped panel with the tall, skinny stork image from the SugarPea Designs Bundle of Joy stamp set.
The stork and its bundle of joy were colored with Copic markers. After carefully cutting the image out, I used foam tape to adhere it to a star patterned paper panel. I stamped the set's "welcome little one" sentiment on a yellow cardstock strip and adhered it to the panel next to the stork image. The bottom of the strip was dressed up with a bit of white paper doily.
I used one of the dies from the SugarCuts Gift Tag set to cut a yellow fishtail flag strip. The strip was adhered to the top right corner of the panel and accented with a trio of gray enamel dots. The finished panel was adhered to a coordinating neutral card base.
Materials Used:
Bundle of Joy stamp set, SugarCuts Gift Tag dies (SugarPea Designs); Memento Tuxedo Black ink (IMAGINE Crafts/Tsukineko); markers (Copic); Sahara Sand and So Saffron cardstock (Stampin' Up!); Twirly Girly 6x6 paper pad (Chickaniddy Crafts); white enamel dots (Michaels); white paper doily; foam tape
