I Love You More Than Chocolate
On the very first day of October, here's my card for September's last Viva la Verve sketch. I used Verve's Chocolate stamp set along with the coordinating Chocolate Word die to put together this sweet design.
I die cut the word several times from dark brown cardstock and layered the die cut pieces for a dimensional look. The word was adhered to a cream oval stamped with the "I love you more than" sentiment. After matting the panel on a dark brown oval, I adhered the panel to a piece of striped patterned paper with rounded corners. The patterned paper was adhered to a kraft cardstock panel. To go with my card's love theme, I substituted the pair of chevrons at the top of the patterned paper panel with a pair of hearts die cut with the Heart Quartet die. The finished panel was adhered to a dark brown card base.
Materials Used:
Chocolate stamp set, Chocolate Word and Heart Quartet dies (Verve Stamps); Memento Luxe Rich Cocoa ink (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); Chocolate Chip and Real Red cardstock (Stampin' Up!); Kraft cardstock (WPlus9); Love Story 6x6 paper pad (Fancy Pants Designs); oval dies (Spellbinders); corner rounder; foam tape
