Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge 290-You're a Cute-a-saurus
It's time for another Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge! This week's layout calls for a square card. I paired the sketch with stamps and dies from SugarPea Designs.
I made a simple scene on the round panel using one of the dinos and the palm tree image from the Prehistoric Pals stamp set. I colored the images with Copic markers, then used the matching dies to cut out the colored images. They're adhered to the background using foam tape for dimension. I stamped the "you're a cute-a-saurus" sentiment at the bottom of the panel.
I found a scrap of dotted paper that brought in the blues, greens, and purples from the scene and adhered it to the left side of a dark aqua square. The image panel was added on top. I layered the finished panel on to a 4 1/4" square card base.
To play along, just create a card based on the sketch and link it up on the SSSC blog. Be sure to stop by the blog to check out what the SSSC team has created using the sketch. And, don't forget to check in on Wednesday to see one of our favorite cards made with the sketch!
