Mojo Monday 422-With Gratitude

With Gratitude card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps from Verve Stamps

Happy Monday!  It's time for a new Mojo Monday sketch.  I used the sketch to make a fall inspired thank you card.

I used three different leaf stamps from Verve's Autumn Blessings set and three different earth toned pigment inks to create a leaf-filled patterned panel.  After rounding the panel's edges, I inked along the edges with some Tea Dye distress ink, then matted the panel on orange cardstock.  I adhered the panel to an olive cardstock panel over a brown cardstock strip and an orange and gold foiled patterned paper rectangle.  I just picked up that pad of foiled papers last week and couldn't wait to try them out on a card.  They're so pretty!  I stamped the "with gratitude" sentiment from the Thankful Accents set in brown ink on a cream circle.  It was matted on an orange circle, then adhered to the card using foam tape.

Don't forget--since it's the first Monday of the month, it's also contest time.  A stamp set from Verve Stamps is up for grabs from the lucky contest winners, so be sure to play along.  Head on over to the Mojo Monday blog for more inspiration from the design team and to add your own take on this week's sketch!  You can also find all of the Mojo Makers at their blogs here:

  3. Hello Lori,

Your card is so simple but makes a BIG statement. Makes me want to go out and kick the leaves around while I can!

    Blessings,
