TCP Tuesday 303 and Sneaky Peek Week, Too!

Today is the start of Sneaky Peek Week for the November release at The Cat's Pajamas!  Six brand new stamp sets and four new CutUps die sets will be available for purchase on Tuesday, November 17.  We'll be spending the next week giving you sneak peeks at all of the new goodies.  And, it's not only day one of a full week of Sneaky Peeks, it's also time for a new TCP Tuesday challenge.  This week's theme is anything goes, so it's a perfect time to pull out your TCP stamps and dies.

Don't Open Until Christmas card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from The Cat's Pajamas

Here's my combination Sneaky Peek/TCP Tuesday design, showing off the new First Christmas stamp set.  The layout comes from the current sketch at CAS(e) this Sketch.  I colored the set's dog with a gift box image using Copic markers.  I fashioned a tag from cream cardstock using a die from the CutUps Topper die set, then added the colored image to the tag using foam tape for dimension.  The "don't open until Christmas" sentiment was stamped beneath the image in red ink.  I topped the tag with a length of red grosgrain ribbon secured with a twine bow.

I embossed a red cardstock panel with a striped design to add some interest to the panel, then topped it with the tag.  The embossing folder pattern is called "Candy Cane Stripe"--it seemed perfect for a holiday themed design!  The panel was matted on brown cardstock, then adhered to a kraft card base.

Want to win one of the new releases before they're even available to purchase?  Of course you do!  For a chance to win the new First Christmas set, just hop along and comment on all of the participating Cat Pack member blogs and the TCP blog today.  One randomly selected winner will be posted on the TCP Facebook page tomorrow.
