The Most Fabulous Birthday Ever

Here's my card for January's second Viva la Verve sketch.  I used the layout to create a masculine birthday card.

The Most Fabulous Birthday Ever card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps from Verve Stamps
With the help of some patterned paper scraps, this card came together pretty quickly.  I mixed and matched the trio of patterns from an older patterned paper pad and arranged them on a kraft card base.  The birthday sentiment from Verve's Better Together stamp set was stamped in brown pigment ink on an olive green pierced circle die cut. The die cut was matted on a kraft circle, then adhered directly to the cardfront.  I accented the sentiment with a die cut gold star and a bunch of olive green enamel dots.

Materials Used:
Better Together stamp set (Verve Stamps); Memento Luxe Rich Cocoa ink (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); Factory Green cardstock, Die-namics Pierced Circle STAX dies (My Favorite Things); Kraft cardstock (Papertrey Ink); gold paper (Target); 24/Seven 6x6 paper pad (Simple Stories); circle dies (Spellbinders); Stars dies (Lil' Inker Designs); olive green enamel dots (Eyelet Outlet); foam tape
