HB2U

Here's my card for this week's My Favorite Things Wednesday Sketch Challenge.  With one of MFT's great Die-namics dies and some bold patterned paper, this one came together in no time at all.

HB2U card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-dies from My Favorite Things
I paired the "HB2U" die from the Tag Talk set with some number patterned paper from a Doodlebug Designs paper pad to make my birthday card.  I cut a piece of the patterned paper and matted it on a coordinating green cardstock panel, then adhered it to a blue card base.  The "HB2U" tag was cut from a scrap of green cardstock.  So that the negative space would stand out against the busy patterned paper, I attached a scrap of blue cardstock to the back of the tag to cover the opening.  After knotting a scrap of blue ribbon through the hole in the tag, I used foam tape to adhere the tag to the card base.  A few white enamel dots scattered around the tag added a bit of dimension to the stamp-free design.

Materials Used:
Sour Apple cardstock, Die-namics Tag Talk dies (My Favorite Things); Hawaiian Shores cardstock (Papertrey Ink); Take Note 6x6 paper pad (Doodlebug Design); white enamel dots (Eyelet Outlet); blue grosgrain ribbon; foam tape

  1. Love this CAS card. It caught my eye because I have that paper. Great use of it! Love the multi-colored tag.
