SugarPea Designs February Sweet 2 Repeat Blog Hop

Wood You Be My Valentine card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from SugarPea Designs

Hi Crafty Friends!
It’s time again for our Sweet 2 Repeat Blog Hop !  Now that so many of you have our January Product Release in your hot little hands, our Pod Squad of designers have geared up to inspire you with even MORE creative possibilities featuring our newest and hottest products!

I used the new Timber stamp set plus the SugarCuts Key to My Heart (also new in January!), Woodgrain Journal Card, and Heart Journal Card dies for my Valentine's Day design.  I colored the lumberjack image with Copic markers and carefully cut him out.  He was adhered to a blue cardfront covered with coordinating blue striped paper and a kraft Woodgrain Journal Card die cut, tilted on an angle.  The woodgrain texture goes perfectly with the image!  The set's "wood you be my Valentine" sentiment was stamped on a blue cardstock strip and tucked beneath the lumberjack image.   I accented the image with a pair of die cut hearts cut with the Key to My Heart and Heart Journal Card dies.
