Here's my card for
May's second Viva la Verve sketch. I made another birthday card using the sketch. This one features one of my current favorite sets,
Verve's Simply Amazing. Love the fonts and sentiments in it!
I die cut a tag from pink cardstock for my sentiment. After stamping the "have an" and "birthday" words from the set, I completed the sentiment with the die cut word "amazing." To give it dimension, I layered the word on a craft foam cut out. The tag was placed on a green cardstock panel over a piece of chevron patterned paper and a girly paper doily. I wrapped a bit of pink ribbon around the panel, then topped the tag with a piece of knotted ribbon for a finished look. For a bit of sparkle, I arranged a trio of pink sequins around the words. The finished panel was adhered to a pink card base that matches the tag.

This is such a cute, fun card with the bright colors and the zigzag paper and doily with the tag.
