Happy Monday! It's time for a new Mojo Monday sketch. A kindergarten teacher that I've worked with for years has won a district-wide award and I made this to give to her at the celebration on Friday afternoon. I think the message from Verve's Teachers Count set is perfect for the occasion!
I made a chalkboard style panel for the sentiment by cutting out a square frame from kraft cardstock, then filling it in with a dark gray panel. The sentiment was stamped in white pigment ink, then heat embossed in white for a chalk-like look. I added the panel to a pink card base that I covered with a piece of number patterned paper and a coordinating piece of pink cardstock set on an angle. The sentiment is accented with a pair of apples made with the set's apple images and cut with the matching Apples dies.
Head on over to the Mojo Monday blog for more inspiration from the design team and to add your own take on this week's sketch! You can also find all of the Mojo Makers at their blogs here:
