Happy Anniversary
Here's my card for June's last Viva la Verve sketch challenge. I used the sketch along with a classic red, gray, and silver color combination to create an anniversary card.
I built my design on a pretty gray on gray patterned paper panel. After adding a trio of narrow shiny silver fishtail flag strips at the top of the panel, I adhered the matted sentiment panel on top. Verve's "happy anniversary" Plain Jane stamp was stamped on the pale gray pierced rectangle panel in gray pigment ink. I accented it with a pair of deep red hearts cut with Verve's Heart Quartet die. Love the pop of the red against the neutral background! The finished panel was adhered to a gray card base.
Materials Used:
Happy Anniversary Plain Jane stamp, Heart Quartet dies (Verve Stamps); Memento Luxe Gray Flannel ink (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); Gravel Gray and Grout Gray cardstock, Die-namics Pierced Rectangle STAX and Fishtail Flag STAX dies (My Favorite Things); Cherry Cobbler cardstock (Stampin' Up!); silver paper (Target); foam tape
