Teacher We Appreciate You

It's almost the end of the school year here--less than ten days now--so it's time to think about end of the school year teacher thank you's.  This one uses stamps and dies from Papertrey Ink and is based on the current sketch at CAS(e) This Sketch.

Teacher card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from Papertrey Ink
I switched up the orientation of the layout from landscape to portrait to accommodate the length of the pencil image from the Pencil Me In set.  The image was stamped across the white panel with the help of my MISTI. I thought I'd stamped them so that I'd get a staggered arrangement, but once I added the erasers to the ends of the pencils, it appears I didn't . . .

For the sentiment, I die cut the word "teacher" from black cardstock backed with craft foam.  I placed the word across the pencils, then stamped the "we appreciate you" sentiment from the Wonderful Words:  Teacher stamp set beneath it in black ink.  The finished panel was adhered to a kraft card base.  My initial plan was to use a yellow card base, but it was a little much against the white panel, so I toned things down a bit with the kraft.

Materials Used:
Pencil Me In and Wonderful Words:  Teacher stamp sets, Wonderful Words:  Teacher die (Papertrey Ink); Memento Tuxedo Black, Angel Pink, Gray Flannel, and Dandelion inks, Delicata Silver Shimmer ink, and Versafine Onyx Black ink (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); marker (Copic); Basic Black cardstock (Stampin' Up!); craft foam
