Donut Mind If You Have a Great Day
Who can say no to a donut? Not me, especially if it's from my favorite local place, Duck Donuts. But I digress . . . I couldn't say no to the adorable Say Yes to Donuts stamp set from Neat and Tangled. I used one of the images to put together this card based on the current sketch at Match this Sketch.
I colored the image using Copic markers, then cut it out with the matching die. After stamping the set's "donut mind if you" sentiment at the top of a white pierced circle die cut, I added the image to the panel using foam tape for dimension. The panel was matted on a slightly larger blue circle, then adhered to a striped blue panel.
I finished the rest of the sentiment on a blue fishtail flag strip. It took a little creative stamping to get the sentiment to say "have a great day" instead of the "have a great birthday" as it does on the stamp. The finished panel was adhered to a blue card base.
Materials Used:
Say Yes to Donuts stamp set, Say Yes to Donuts dies (Neat and Tangled); Memento Tuxedo Black ink (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); markers (Copic); Marina Mist cardstock (Stampin' Up!); Spring Rain patterned paper (Papertrey Ink); Die-namics Pierced Circle STAX and Fishtail Flag STAX dies (My Favorite Things); circle dies (Spellbinders); foam tape
