Love You More Than Coffee
Here's my card for this week's sketch at Freshly Made Sketches. I created a masculine-feeling design with a coffee theme.
I selected a plaid patterned paper from a Fancy Pants paper pad to use as the background for my card. The panel was adhered to a coordinating melon card base. I used the Coffee Cozy dies from Lil' Inker Designs to create a pair of to go cups. Each cup was shaded just a bit with a Copic marker to add depth, then adhered to the cardfront using foam tape. I stamped the "love you more than coffee" sentiment from the Coffee Cozy set on a kraft fishtail flag strip, then added it to the card, tucking it underneath the pair of cups. A trio of brown enamel dots arranged around the sentiment strip complete the design.
Materials Used:
Coffee Talk stamp set, Coffee Cozy dies (Lil' Inker Designs); Memento Tuxedo Black ink (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); markers (Copic); Melon Berry and Kraft cardstock (Papertrey Ink); Good Fellows 6x6 paper pad (Fancy Pants Designs); Die-namics Fishtail Flag STAX dies (My Favorite Things); brown enamel dots (Eyelet Outlet); foam tape
