Mojo Monday 476-Happy Howlidays

Happy Howlidays card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps from Lawn Fawn

Happy Monday!  It's time for another Mojo Monday sketch.  This week, we're switching things up a bit with a layout designed for a square card.  My sister requested a holiday card to give to her dog groomer, so I used the layout to put one together.

My image and sentiment are from Lawn Fawn's Happy Howlidays stamp set.  I colored the dog and hat images with Copic markers, then cut them out using the matching dies.  After creating a wintery background with silver stamped snowflakes and a shimmery white snowbank, I added the dog and hat on top, using foam tape for dimension.  The scene was matted on silver paper, then on a wider red mat.  I placed it on a green card base over a piece of green on green dotted paper.  The set's "happy howlidays" sentiment was stamped in red ink on a white circle.  I matted the circle on green cardstock, then added it to the bottom right corner of the cardfront to finish the design.

Head on over to the Mojo Monday blog for more inspiration from the design team and to add your own take on this week's sketch!  You can also find all of the Mojo Makers at their blogs here:
